Unless otherwise agreed in writing before work commences, between TEK911 Inc. and the customer, these Server Installation Terms and Conditions, apply to all work undertaken by TEK911 Inc. on behalf of the customer. Additional service terms and conditions (see here) also apply.

Network Terms, Inclusions and Exclusions

Payment terms
100% hardware down payment required on contract signing.
Remaining balance due upon delivery of hardware and system checkout. For customers with credit facilities, payment is on a 30 calendar days net basis.
All additional labor after initial installation billed at standard hourly rates with net 30 terms.

Warranty
Tek911 Inc. will warrant all hardware for the life of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Network File Server
Install and configure all hardware components, server operating system software, antivirus software, tape backup hardware and software.
Move data from current server and workstations to new file server.
Complete hardware burn-in and testing.

Workstation Configuration
Configure workstations for server access.
Install and Configure Anti virus and anti spyware software.
Test all operations successfully.

Network Access and Security
Create all user accounts and user data home directories.
Create network login scripts with appropriate drive and printer mappings.

Printing
Create network printer queues.
Setup users for printer access.

Installation DOES NOT Include:

• A guarantee that Windows 95/98/ME/2K/XP will be compatible with your existing DOS/Windows applications.

• Repair for any defective equipment discovered in network installation.

• Warranty or repair of any previously installed equipment.

• Installation or configuration of any computer not on the network.

• Installation or configuration of any additional software or hardware not stated in the bid.
  Any service outside of the scope of work can be addressed with an approved change order. Not all work may have been identified that is out of the scope of work.

• Cabling or cable diagnostic services. Cable troubleshooting will be billed at current rates.

There will be an additional charge for any of these items:

• Additional wiring materials.

• Installation of any additional hardware and or software.

• Installation of any additional printers and or printer configurations.

• Internet Domain Names - Domain name research and acquisition, DNS setup.

• Web page design / changes.

You are responsible for providing:

• Operational Ethernet approved wiring.

• Adequate electrical outlets for all components.

• Telephone wiring or connections for items requiring telephone access.

• Tek911 Inc. cannot be held responsible for any delays due third party vendors i.e. ISP, cable provider, Phone Company, etc.
